Recently I was browsing the folders of photos I took during the trip, and I realised that the images of the fabulous Alhambra had not made it to this website. So I quickly cobbled together a slideshow of this majestic palace cum fortress, built at the zenith of Islamic civilisation by the enlightened rulers of Andalusia in the mid-10th century. It was then an age of enlightenment and discovery for the Muslims … unlike now. 😦
